Karson Chang Bio

Mr. Chang is a Managing Director at Peak Rock. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and underwriting credit and non-control investments across a variety of industries. Mr. Chang has extensive experience providing founders, entrepreneurs, and management teams with growth capital and helping them grow their businesses both organically and through transformational acquisitions.Previously, Mr. Chang was with Black Diamond Capital Management, where he focused on debt investments for the firm’s CLO, hedge fund, and private equity platforms. Mr. Chang began his career in the high yield credit research division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.Mr. Chang received a bachelor’s degree of business administration in finance/Business Honors Program (BHP), with highest honors, from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Chang is a CFA® charterholder.
