Olavo has been at Patria for 7 years, having joined the company from BRF in 2017. With over 30 of experience, Olavo is responsible for orchestrating investment decisions, M&As and divestments practices for Consumer, and Food & Beverage sectors in PE. He led the investments with USD 1.3 billion of capital commitment in four theses: Consumer Goods Distribution, Regional Supermarket, Regional Cash & Carry and Livestock Supplies Retailer. As Head of PE’s New Theses strategies, he is also responsible for supporting other verticals (Health Care, Agribusiness and Business Services) in identifying and developing new theses. Finally, he graduated Cum Laude in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and received a scholarship to Wharton School’s MBA Extension. Olavo is based in Brazil and will report directly to Ricardo Scavazza, Head of Private Equity.
