Jose Mestres Bio

Jose Mestres is our Partner & Investment Leader for Infrastructure Latam ex-Brazil. He started his career with Patria in 2013, joining from Blackstone. At that time, he had a key role in the successful private placement of Hidrovias. Since then, Jose has been leading Patria Infrastructure Latam ex-Brazil efforts. His accomplishments include the establishment of our Chilean office in Santiago; the creation, development and co-investment of Aguas Pacifico desalination platform in Chile; the investment and divestment of Atis towers in Argentina; the establishment of Patria Infra’s Colombian toll road presence, through the partnership with a Colombian group and the acquisition of Rutas del Valle and Ruta al Sur concessions. Jose has also been contributing to our Corporate M&A development and fundraising in Latam ex-Brazil countries. Pepe is based in Uruguay and reports to Andre Sales, Head of Infrastructure.
