Daniel joined Patria in 2016 as an Investment Director overseeing the agribusiness sector, being responsible for the consolidation and M&A deals for Lavoro, a leading agricultural inputs retailer in Latin America that went public on the NASDAQ in early 2023. More recently, he has been responsible for the new PE Fund VII theses in PE’s agribusiness strategy, having approved two deals – seeds and fertilizers – in Patria’s IC. Throughout his career, he has taken roles in M&A and corporate development for South America at Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM), as well as at Cielo S.A. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree from Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from London Business School, along with specialized training in venture capital and private equity at MIT. Daniel is based in Brazil and will report directly to Ricardo Scavazza, Head of Private Equity.
