Joseph Huffsmith Bio

Joe Huffsmith joined OEP in 2006 and is a Partner based in Chicago. During his tenure at OEP, Mr. Huffsmith has worked on numerous investments in the chemical, food, industrial manufacturing, automotive, energy, technology and healthcare industries. Mr. Huffsmith is a member of the Board of Directors of Comer, Norit, and AMECO, and was previously a member of the Board of Directors of PeroxyChem, Sonneborn, East Balt, Netas, Genband and Precision Gear. Prior to joining OEP, Mr. Huffsmith worked at JPMorgan in a variety of groups including Asia Capital Markets, the Private Bank, Corporate Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives. Mr. Huffsmith received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and his B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from Duke University.
