Lun Nie Bio

Mr. Nie is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He currently serves on the boards of Aqseptence Group, TSG, OEG and COL Group, and is a board observer of CEBAT. Mr. Nie previously served as a board observer of MWH Treatment. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2019, he was an investment associate at Blue Water Energy LLP. Previously, he was an M&A analyst at Lazard on the industrials team. Mr. Nie received an M.Sc. in financial economics from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. in management (finance and accounting) from the University of Manchester, where he was on the Dean’s List. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in German.
