Michael Kahan Bio

Michael Kahan is a Managing Partner of North Peak. He founded North Peak’s predecessor entity to pursue private equity investments, but transitioned his focus to public equity investing after partnering with his brother Jeremy to launch the long short equity fund in 2015. Mr. Kahan still serves on the Board of Directors of Extend Fertility. Prior to founding North Peak’s predecessor, he was a Director at Onex Corporation, Canada’s leading private equity firm. Prior to joining Onex, Mr. Kahan was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
