Philip Deutch Bio

Phil is the founder and a Managing Partner of Energy Technology Partners. ETP is affiliated with NGP, a private equity firm with over $20 billion of cumulative equity commitments that makes direct equity investments in the energy sector. Phil joined NGP in 2021 and also serves as Partner of the NGP funds. Having invested in the energy technology sector since 1997, his extensive experience includes leading early to late-stage investments in renewable energy, power quality/reliability, distributed generation, energy management and control, and power electronics.
