Jose María Muñoz Bio

José Marí­a Muñoz is a founding partner of MCH Private Equity. Since 1998 he has participated in more than twenty private equity transactions, mainly in buyouts in the Spanish mid-market, in a variety of sectors including specialized industry, distribution, services to companies and consumer products. He has also been promoter of several businesses, such as MyAlert.com or MCH Investment Strategies. He has been a Board member and Director of companies such as Azulev, Comess Group, Qualytel, IQAP, Talgo, Gamo, Televida, Jeanologia and Lenitudes. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Europastry, TCI Cutting, Grupo Palacios de Alimentación and Aquanaria.. Before founding MCH, he worked for several years at McKinsey & Company in the US and Spain and previously was a Consultant in the Strategic Consulting Division of Andersen Consulting. José Marí­a holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and was graduated as an Industrial Engineer from ETSII of Madrid. He has been a Visiting Professor of Business Creation at the Instituto de Empresa, member of ICA (Instituto de Consejeros y Administradores), member of the mid-market council in InvestEurope and is an active member of the Cí­rculo de Empresarios and CEAPI (Consejo Empresarial de America Latina).
