Chase Emson Bio

Chase co-founded Magenta Partners in 2008 and has been directly involved in with its investments in iPrism, JoJo Maman Bebe, 333 Solar, Halo Insurance and Eaton Gate Vigilis. In 2012, he co-founded Viva Gym and led the growth of Viva Gym’s South African business from start-up to a 7-site operation with over 100 employees in 4 cities. Prior to Magenta, Chase was a Director with MidOcean Partners, a pan-European mid-market private equity firm, and worked at Deutsche Bank in both corporate finance advisory and venture capital roles. Chase has experience on investments ranging from pure equity venture capital through to mid-market (£150m EV) buyouts and large cap (£2bn) advisory mandates, with a focus on Western Europe. Chase has an MA in Spanish and Business Studies from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from INSEAD where he was an IFS Henry Grunfeld scholar.
