Daniel Gewanter Bio

Mr. Gewanter joined Kohlberg in 2018. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Gewanter was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Whippoorwill Associates, Inc. Prior to that, he worked in the Legal and Compliance Department at Credit Suisse and as a lawyer at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler, LLP. Mr. Gewanter received a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A. from Brandeis University.
