James Morgan Bio

James J. Morgan, General Partner. Since January 2002, Mr. Morgan has been a partner of Jacobson Partners, having previously been an investor in Jacobson Partners, as well as performing consulting assignments. Mr. Morgan is a Director of Swan Products and Passur Aerospace, and previously served on the Boards of Taco Bueno Restaurants, Inc., Childtime Learning Centers, Inc. and Bertucci Corporation. Mr. Morgan is primarily involved with the consumer related companies in the portfolio and participates in the evaluation of new investment opportunities. Mr. Morgan retired in 1997 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Philip Morris Incorporated after a 30 year career with the company. Mr. Morgan is a graduate of Princeton University.
