Marcelo is the Head of Technical at Intrepid Financial Partners. Marcelo is based in Houston. Marcelo was most recently a Director in the A&D group at Barclays Capital, where he led numerous successful efforts across upstream and midstream mandates across the U.S. and internationally amounting to ~$45 billion. Marcelo has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with experience and fundamentals in reservoir engineering and characterization, field development planning, well performance benchmarking, surveillance, and risk/uncertainty identification and quantification. Prior to Barclays, Marcelo worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at both Samson Resources and Hess. Marcelo holds a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
