J. Kyle Hood Bio

Kyle has over 20 years of experience as a private equity investor and investment banker. At IOP, he is responsible for deal sourcing and execution as well as managing portfolio investments. Prior to joining IOP, Kyle served as a Director at Chilmark Partners, a Chicago private equity and restructuring advisory firm that invests in distressed middle-market companies. While at Chilmark Partners, he also served as a restructuring advisor to companies and creditor groups. He began his career in the Transaction Advisory Group of Arthur Andersen. Kyle graduated from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with an MBA and from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in finance with highest honors. He is a CPA (inactive).
