Karuna Uppal Bio

Ms. Uppal is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2018, Ms. Uppal was a Managing Director at GoldenTree Asset Management, where she was a Product Specialist covering a range of credit strategies and the Head of Investor Relations. Prior to GoldenTree, Ms. Uppal was a Senior Research Analyst at Austin Capital Management, where she focused on credit manager selection. Prior to that, Ms. Uppal worked as a Vice President of Structured Products Sales at Bank of America Securities. Ms. Uppal holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
