Katrina Starr-Frederick Bio

Katrina is the CFO and CCO. She leads the Finance and Operations team and is responsible for the firm’s financial, compliance, and administrative functions. Prior to joining Hastings Equity Partners in 2007, Katrina served as Corporate Controller of Matritech, Inc. At Matritech, Katrina was responsible for all accounting operations, budgeting, SEC reporting, fundraising activities and financial controls. Before Matritech, she was a Finance Principal at Cambridge Innovations (f/k/a Cambridge Incubator) where she served as the finance and accounting resource for its portfolio companies. Katrina started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where she worked in the Technology Business Assurance Practice. Katrina received a BA degree in Economics & Accounting from College of the Holy Cross and is a currently-licensed Certified Public Accountant.
