James Miller Bio

James Miller joined HarbourVest in 2007 and currently oversees the State and Local tax compliance process for all HarbourVest legal entities, both US-based and international. His responsibilities also include tax-related communications with existing and prospective investors and is involved in the investment due diligence process for primary, secondary, and direct co-investments. James joined the Firm from Stone & Company, where he was a staff accountant responsible for drafting financial statements, authorizing and processing tax returns, and performing audits. James received a BS in Accountancy from Quinnipiac University in 2005 and an MS in Taxation from Northeastern University in 2012. He holds the Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
