Camilo Horvilleur Bio

Camilo is a Managing Director and Head of US Healthcare based in H.I.G. Capital's Miami office. As a member of the US LBO fund, he is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies. Camilo has nearly twenty years of investment experience and has led private equity transactions in a variety of industries with a focus on healthcare, business services, insurance and technology. Prior to joining H.I.G., Camilo was an Associate with Morgan Stanley in New York where he focused on telecom and emerging markets. Camilo also worked at Atticus Capital, an alternative asset manager. Camilo earned his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University, summa cum laude, and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
