Taran Khera Bio

Taran Khera is Head of the Data Strategy Group. In this role, he drives GIC’s Enterprise Data Strategy to develop a more robust way of governing, engineering, and delivering data for business needs and growth. Taran joined GIC in 2021, bringing with him over 16 years of experience in Data and Financial Services across APAC, Middle East, and Europe from Bloomberg LP. Prior to joining GIC, Taran was Head of Asia Pacific Sales & Business for Bloomberg LP in Hong Kong, where he took charge of the strategy for all of Bloomberg’s Enterprise Technologies under the Financial Products umbrella. Taran holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Operational Research and Management Sciences from Aston University.
