Edward Dresner Bio

Ed has been a key contributor at Eastward for over 15 years and is a member of the Investment Committee. A strong background in financial and credit analysis provides Ed with a unique perspective regarding Eastward's opportunities. Ed’s strength in providing analysis of business models and structures allows him to provide key insights into companies and potential exit values. As a member of the investment committee, Ed provides significant input into terms and the modeling of Eastward’s investments as well originating his own opportunities. Ed began his career as a credit analyst for Chemical Bank. Ed also was a managing director at MeesPierson, Inc. (part of Fortis), where he originated and structured debt, equity and fund investments for the bank’s clients and also managed investment research for an internal fund which provided equity financing to publicly traded companies in various sectors including technology. Ed is a graduate of Hamilton College.
