Jan Prokop Bio

Jan joined Copley in 2019. Prior to Copley, Jan worked at New York City and Greenwich, CT based hedge funds Verition Fund and BBT Capital / Bass Brothers for five years where he was responsible for idea generating, conducting due diligence and monitoring investments across equity and credit markets in various industries. Prior to his investment work in the public markets, Jan worked at Greenbriar Equity Group, a middle market private equity firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio company oversight and where he helped complete two portfolio company acquisitions in the aerospace sector. Jan worked in the Power & Utilities investment banking group at Barclays after college. Jan graduated summa cum laude from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and was a member of Boston College’s varsity golf team for four years and its captain for two years.
