Joseph Scharfenberger Bio

Joe Scharfenberger is Co-Managing Partner of CCMP Growth and a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. He is also Co-Managing Partner of CCMP Capital. Mr. Scharfenberger heads the Firm’s investment activities in the consumer sector. Prior to joining CCMP Capital in 2008, Mr. Scharfenberger worked at Bear Stearns Merchant Banking. Prior to joining Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, Mr. Scharfenberger worked in the private equity division at Toronto Dominion Securities. Mr. Scharfenberger has been involved with CCMP Capital’s investments in Francesca’s Collections, Hillman Solutions, Jamieson Wellness, Jetro and Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. Mr. Scharfenberger sits on the board of directors of CCMP Capital portfolio companies Founder Sport Group, Shoes For Crews and RealTruck and CCMP Growth’s Mammoth Holdings. He holds a B.A. from The University of Vermont.
