Joseph Somerdyk Bio

Mr. Somerdyk is a Vice President at Brookside Equity Partners. Prior to joining Brookside Equity Partners, Mr. Somerdyk was an Associate at The Blackstone Group where he worked with the firm’s hedge fund clients to provide performance reporting and operational support as part of the Investor Relations and Business Development group. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Somerdyk served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps for just under five years. Mr. Somerdyk graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a B.S. in economics and received his MBA from Columbia Business School.
