Roger Huang Bio

Roger is a Partner at Bregal Investments. Prior to joining Bregal, Roger spent over two decades in executive, private equity, and advisory roles. Most recently, Roger was a co-founder and Chief Strategy and Development Officer at Crestone Peak Resources, a CPP Investments portfolio company, which was merged in a $4.5 billion transaction to form Civitas Resources (NYSE: CIVI). Before Crestone, Roger was a founding member and Principal in the Energy & Resources group, Real Assets at CPP Investments, where he led private equity investments in the U.S. and helped grow AuM to C$7+ billion. Prior to CPP Investments, Roger was a Vice President at First Reserve in Houston and in Hong Kong. Roger started his career in the Financial Sponsors Group at Bank of America. Roger received an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He graduated High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
