Luis Paz-Galindo Bio

Luis is a founding partner of Blue Road. Prior to Blue Road, Luis worked for the Ospraie Special Opportunities Fund leading investments in the energy, infrastructure and commodity industries. Prior to joining Ospraie in July 2006, Luis spent six years with J.P. Morgan Partners (the private equity arm of J.P. Morgan Chase), four years in Brazil focusing on investment opportunities in the Southern Cone and the last two years in New York, focusing primarily on energy opportunities. Before joining J.P. Morgan Partners, Luis spent one year with J.P. Morgan’s Latin America M&A group in New York. Luis received a B.A. in Philosophy and Engineering Sciences and a Bachelor’s of Engineering from Dartmouth College. He also received a Master’s in Technology and Policy and a Ph.D. in Energy Economics from MIT.
