Josh Johnson Bio

Josh Johnson is a Managing Director and a member of the Communications and Digital Infrastructure team at Berkshire Partners. He is currently involved with Berkshire portfolio companies UPSTACK and Vapor IO. Examples of prior portfolio company involvement at Berkshire include Active Aero Group, Curriculum Associates, Lightower, Masterplan and Telx. Josh originally joined Berkshire in 2008 as an Associate on the private equity team, and then returned to the firm in 2012 after graduating from business school. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Co. Josh received a B.S.E. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
