Laura Carr Bio

Ms. Carr joined Bain Capital in 2022. She is a Managing Director in the European Portfolio Group, working with management teams to build stronger finance capabilities across the portfolio. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ms. Carr was Chief Financial Officer of Dunelm Group PLC, a FTSE 250 UK based omni-channel retailer. Ms. Carr started her career at PwC (London and Sydney), working mainly with Retail and Consumer clients. She has subsequently held progressively senior finance roles within several businesses, including Compass Group PLC, Indigo Books & Music Inc and JTI Inc. Ms. Carr received a BSc from Cardiff University and is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).
