Graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milan, before joining Arcadia SGR he was Senior Partner of Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR. He started his career in London with San Paolo and Hambros Bank. After an experience at San Paolo IMI Private Equity in Milan, he was General Manager of Aletti Private Equity SGR and Head of Investments of Aletti Merchant. He subsequently co-founded Mast Capital Partners and Winch Italia SICAF, as the Italian platform of Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (now Andera Partners) for mainly minority investments in growth SMEs. Overall, he has completed and led about twenty minority and majority investments in Italian SMEs in various sectors and has been a member of the boards of directors of several investee companies and investment committees of private equity funds.
