Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, he obtained a Master in Business Administration at Bocconi University. After several years working in industry, he was Senior Director and member of the Investment Committee of SO.PA.F., one of the pioneers of the Private Equity industry in Italy. He was then a Founding Partner of Bridgepoint, one of the largest international Private Equity operators, with responsibility for investment activity in Italy for twelve years, and a member of the Investment Committee and the Operating Committee of Bridgepoint at an international level. He is a Founding Partner and Chairman of Arcadia SGR.
