Joined American Industrial Partners in 2022. Mr. Trnka-Amrhein most recently served as an Executive Director in the Liquid Credit & Special Situations group at FS Investments, where he worked on a variety of investments ranging from public distressed debt, event driven and special situations, private credit, and structured asset backed opportunities. Prior to that, he worked as a Credit Analyst at Black Diamond Capital management, investing in both performing and distressed opportunities in the industrial and energy sectors. He began his career in the High Yield research group at Barclays Capital. Mr. Trnka-Amrhein graduated from Duke University with a BA in Sociology.
