James Powers Bio

James Powers joined AEA in 2008 and is AEA’s Managing Director of Portfolio Solutions. In his role, he will assist with high-priority portfolio company transformations as well as evaluate single-asset continuation vehicle opportunities. He currently serves on the boards of Process Sensing Technologies, Spectrum Control and Swanson Industries. Prior to joining AEA, Mr. Powers was a strategy consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Powers earned a B.S. in economics from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.
