Vladimir Matias is a Managing director at the Moscow office of goetzpartners. He has an over 20 years broad transaction experience in the energy, mining, infrastructure, industrial and other sectors, both in Russia and abroad. He advised many leading Russian and European energy and industrial companies. Mr Matias has in-depth experience in project financing and private equity investments, and arranged some of the first project financing transactions in the oil & gas sector in Russia and the Ukraine. Before joining goetzpartners, Vladimir Matias co-founded and developed for 6 years international company Asset Capital Partners, and prior to this he was head of HVB Group’s (now UniCredit Bank) Project and Asset Based Financing and Private Equity team in Moscow, and worked for 11 years at HVB Group in Munich. Mr Matias holds a degree in business law from the Moscow Academy of Economics and Law, and in linguistics from Munich, Germany.
