Gagandeep Sawhney joined Freeman & Co. in 1996 after completing an MBA at Columbia Business School. Mr. Sawhney rose to become a Managing Director in the firm before his departure in 2007. He rejoined the firm in early 2009 as a Managing Director focused on building and expanding relationships with some of the firm’s largest clients in the financial technology and specialty finance spaces. During his two years sabbatical from Freeman & Co., Mr. Sawhney was a managing director at KBC Financial Products USA., running their reverse mortgage origination and trading operations. In addition to attending Columbia Business School, Mr. Sawhney received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Punjab University and was first in class at the Asian Institute of Management. He holds the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter from the CFA Institute.
