Patrick Lawler, a partner of the firm and member of the Commercial Lending Practice Group, is a seasoned business lawyer with an exceptional array of transactional and advisory experience, particularly in finance. With more than 20 years of experience at large international law firms, Patrick is widely recognized as a leading practitioner in the field of banking and finance based on his impressive transactional track record. Patrick’s extensive experience has made him a valued legal resource for major and middle market domestic and international clients. Patrick represents banks, funds and operating companies in a wide range of leveraged and corporate finance transactions, including domestic and cross-border acquisition finance, asset-based lending facilities, project and equipment financings, structured financings, operating and capital leases, and restructurings. At ease with the most technically demanding of projects, Patrick has guided clients through the legal complexities of billions of dollars of often large-scale but usually middle market, multijurisdictional transactions. He regularly advises on all aspects of deal structure, negotiation, and documentation, including the negotiation of intercreditor relationships among senior and junior creditors.
