Joseph Gomez Bio

Joseph R. Gomez is an experienced business lawyer who practices in the areas of general corporate and transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate and LLC law, tax law, entity formations and restructurings, shareholder disputes, commercial loan transactions, joint venture transactions, and private equity transactions. A significant part of Joe’s practice involves dealing with issues routinely encountered by entrepreneurs and small to mid-size companies. Joe has been consistently selected throughout the years as a Florida Super Lawyer® by Super Lawyers Magazine, listed for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® , and identified as a Florida Legal Elite™ by Florida Trend Magazine. In recognition of closing significant transactions, Joe was named as a finalist for Top Dealmaker of the Year by the Daily Business Review. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Gomez was a Partner in the Miami office of an Amlaw 100 law firm, where he was a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax Group. He began his legal career with the Chicago firm of Karon, Morrison and Savikas, LLP.
