Rami Yanni is an attorney with over 25 years of experience advising multinational corporations, startups, and individuals. His expertise includes intellectual property transactions, licensing, portfolio strategy, enforcement, anti-piracy, entertainment deals, content distribution, FTC and consumer protection, celebrity endorsements, COPPA/CARU compliance, and M&A due diligence. He has negotiated hundreds of agreements across diverse industries such as film, TV, music, e-commerce, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, food and beverage, software, gaming, publishing, and more. Rami has also represented major studios and networks in copyright and trademark matters. Previously, Rami was Senior VP of Business and Legal Affairs at Saban Brands LLC, handling a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. He also chaired the Trademark Practice Group at Greenberg Glusker and was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery. Rami has published extensively on U.S. intellectual property law and serves as an Adjunct Professor at USC Gould School of Law. A frequent speaker on IP issues, he is a member of the International Trademark Association and sits on the Executive Committee of the Entertainment Law and IP Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Additionally, he serves on boards for Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage, the Brewers Association, and Guitars in the Classroom.
