Shirley Velasquez-Viray Bio

Shirley Velasquez-Viray is a Partner and co-head of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice group at Puyat Jacinto Santos (PJS) Law. Shirley has extensive experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, project development and general corporate representation, advising clients on the participation to competitive bids, and assisting in drafting and negotiating of transaction documents, on either seller or buyer side, in sale and purchase transactions, joint venture and shareholders agreements, and other project and commercial contracts. She has extensive experience in advising, both local and international clients in the life sciences and health care, manufacturing, FMCG, TMT, and the energy sectors. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines in 2008. She attained the 9th highest ranking in the Philippine Bar in 2008. Shirley also obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree as cum laude in Political Science from the University of the Philippines 2003.
