Regina Jacinto-Barrientos Bio

Regina Jacinto-Barrientos is the CEO and Co-Founder of PJS Law. She is a multi-awarded legal practitioner in the Philippines, with nearly 30 years of experience in the fields of Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate law, Energy, Infrastructure and Technology and counseling for government-initiated nation building ventures. Throughout her practice she enjoys working with family-owned and generational businesses, honing a keen sense of personal and familial dynamics within corporations. Regina goes beyond simply addressing legal concerns and expands to ensuring synergy and clear communication among her clients’ relationships. She is a strategic thinker and her strength as communicator and crisis manager have been recognized by clients as critical to family successions. In 1997, Regina co-founded PJS Law, a full-service law firm in the Philippines which has since expanded its client network within and beyond the ASEAN Region. At present, she acts as CEO and has used her extensive knowledge to coach and mentor multiple batches of established professionals. In 2019, she co-founded UNAWA, a regulatory technology company keeping her on the beat with the tech industry. She currently leads as its CEO. In 2023, under her innovative leadership, she ushered in her law firm’s combination with Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, further solidifying PJS' role as an international player. Regina is a trustee of NVC Foundation and has served similar positions for non-profit organizations. She received her Juris Doctor from the Ateneo De Manila University, where she graduated within the top 15 of her class.
