Maria Perifanou is experienced in all areas of corporate law and has acted in all matters arising in the area of company and commercial law. She has worked on numerous domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. She is highly skilled in negotiations and offers flexible solutions and has wide experience in advising on the implementation of take-over strategies. She has considerable experience in all areas of M&A transactions (deal structuring, due diligence, tender process and transaction documentation). She has been involved in major innovative and complex projects, for both private and public sector clients, which have required a combination of detailed and highly technical legal expertise, innovative thinking, and commercial focus. She has been involved in a wide spectrum of industries, including food industry, infrastructure, energy and telecommunications, as well as Greek public authorities. Maria also specializes in the areas of banking, finance and capital markets, advising domestic and international clients. Her experience includes advising credit institutions on the sale of loan portfolios -performing and non-performing ones. She also advises listed companies and financial advisors on the structuring of transactions -especially tender offers- and contractual and regulatory issues arising from the capital markets legal framework.
