As the leading lawyer in our Nagoya office, Hiroki has experience in a wide variety of projects. He works in close collaboration with our offices to provide one-stop legal services to our clients in the Tokai region. Hiroki has strong expertise in M&A/joint venture transactions (including cross-border deals with companies in Asia and other countries outside of Japan), Companies Act related projects (advising on decision-making at shareholders’ and board of directors’ meetings, mergers, corporate divisions, and other reorganization procedures), Financial Instruments and Exchange Act related projects (such as preparing various statutory disclosure documents and dealing with prevention of insider trading), and other general corporate legal issues. In addition, he is actively engaged in acting as a contact point in the Tokai region to support our clients with domestic/international disputes, antitrust law related issues, compliance/crisis issues, and other legal issues. As the leading lawyer in our Nagoya office, he works in close collaboration with our lawyers in the Tokyo office, overseas offices, and other our offices, and provides flexible assistance to meet our clients’ business needs in a timely manner.
