Daniel Cowan Bio

Dan is an accomplished corporate and private equity attorney who represents private equity funds, portfolio companies, strategic investors, and asset managers in complex business transactions and general corporate matters. He has a particular focus on middle-market deals involving the retail & consumer products, financial services, technology, energy transition and health care sectors. Dan has extensive experience leading public and private mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and growth equity financings. His practice also encompasses providing strategic counsel on recapitalizations, minority investments, joint ventures, continuation funds, and other investment transactions. Prior to joining Mintz, Dan was a partner at a US-based multinational law firm, where he handled a wide array of transactions and related matters for private equity and corporate clients.
