Philip Thomas Bio

Philip Thomas focuses his practice on real estate and corporate transactions. Phil represents a broad range of clients, including institutional lenders, hotel owners and operators, and commercial landlords and tenants, and has experience representing both U.S. and foreign clients in most aspects of real estate ownership, development, and leasing. Phil has handled matters involving financings on behalf of lenders and borrowers, acquisitions and dispositions for partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations, new construction and renovations, leasing for landlords and tenants, and ongoing management issues. These transactions have involved hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, retail stores, rental apartment complexes, co-operative apartment corporations, condominium developments, and industrial properties. Phil also has extensive experience in other commercial matters, including trademark licensing.
