Shwetambari Rao Bio

Shwetambari Rao is the Managing Partner in K Law’s Corporate and Commercial practice, advising clients on several high-value transactions in the e-commerce, manufacturing, and technology sectors. She is particularly experienced in matters such as business set-up and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital, inbound and outbound investments, project finance, commercial contracts, e-commerce and corporate restructuring transactions. She began her career at the firm and in the course of her 20+ years with us, she has been instrumental in making K Law one of Bengaluru’s leading law firms, expanding the 3-lawyer Corporate and Commercial practice to a team of 35. In addition to representing the firm’s clients, Shweta has also been a Board Member for corporations such as SABMiller and served on special committees related to law and governance. She also volunteers as a mentor at the Snehalya Children Homes, and has been a member of the Advisory Board of BalUtsav — an NGO dedicated to education for the underprivileged in India.
