Hanson Lin Bio

Hanson Lin received B.E. from East China University of Political Science and Law and his J.M from Tsinghua University. Prior to joining Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2012, Mr. Lin worked at the Broad & Bright, a PRC law firm focusing on private equity. Mr. Lin specializes in capital markets, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investment. He has represented many multinational companies and international financial institutions in public offering and financing on onshore and offshore capital market. In the securities sector, Mr. Lin assisted many medium and large-sized enterprises and start-up companies with their listing or financing on the Hong Kong, Singapore and Chinese domestic stock exchanges. Mr. Lin is also has extensive experiences in advising acquirers or sellers on structural issues, organizing legal due diligence work and drafting and negotiating acquisition documentations. He regularly advises international clients, including Fortune 500 companies, on legal and regulatory matters that arise in connection with start-up, management, restructuring, financing and operation of their business activities in China. Mr. Lin passed PRC bar examination in 2005.
