Mai Zymaris Bio

Mai Zymaris is a partner in Ice Miller’s Business Group, specializing in guiding clients on U.S. and cross-border life sciences transactions. She also oversees the Vietnam desk of the Asia-Pacific Practice Group. Mai counsels pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostic, and technology companies on a wide range of licensing, collaborations, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other intellectual property-focused transactions. She assists life sciences and technology companies with commercial transactions related to manufacturing, supply, distribution, and commercialization of technology and products. Mai also represents research and academic institutions in forming public-private partnerships and drafting and negotiating various agreements such as consortium, grant, joint research, and sponsored research. Her scope of knowledge includes intellectual property, corporate and commercial aspects of M&A transactions. Mai is an active member of the Greater Boston Area and Vietnamese startup and investment communities. She co-founded and co-hosts the Boston Life Sciences Showcase, and is the founder and President of VietChallenge, the largest global Vietnamese startup program that has helped jumpstart more than 800 companies.
