Brian Korman is a partner in Ice Miller’s Business Group, where he focuses his practice on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions and complex corporate transactions. Brian routinely represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as independent sponsors, family offices, privately held businesses and other financial and strategic buyers. Brian provides trusted strategic and legal counsel for his clients’ investment and corporate strategies across a range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, mezzanine financings, growth capital transactions, early and late stage private equity investments and secondary transactions. Brian also advises these investors in connection with the management of their portfolio companies. Additionally, Brian represents privately held, closely held and family-owned businesses in connection with the sale of their companies. Brian is active in his community and understands the importance of giving back to those around him. He currently serves on the firm's Community Involvement Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors for Bench Mark Program, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania based non-profit organization serving at-risk youth. In 2012, Brian graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing. He earned his juris doctor, summa cum laude, from Elon University School of Law in 2016 where he also served as class valedictorian.
