Sam Dwyer Bio

Sam is Practice Group Head of HWLE’s Melbourne Corporate and Commercial Group. Sam is a transactional lawyer with extensive experience in strategic corporate advisory work, including capital raisings and public and private M&A. An experienced team leader, he has a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects with a solution-focused attitude and an ability to understand and clearly define key value drivers and outcomes. Sam acts for a broad range of clients including publicly listed companies, private equity funds, SMEs, start-ups and high net wealth individuals and over a variety of industries including technology (including fintech, biotech, medtech and SaaS businesses), property, retail, agribusiness, hotels and tourism, and not-for-profits. Sam regularly advises in respect of employee incentive schemes and corporate governance issues and is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
