As co-chair of Foley Hoag’s Public Companies and Capital Markets practices, Stacie Aarestad specializes in corporate and securities law, and regularly acts as outside corporate counsel to public life sciences, technology and cannabis companies. Stacie represents issuers in a broad range of capital market transactions, including public and private offerings of equity and debt securities; she also advises on various other matters affecting public companies and their officers and directors such as ongoing ’34 Act reporting obligations, corporate governance and related regulatory matters, Section 16 matters, insider trading regulations, executive compensation matters and ESG. In addition to the 20+ years’ experience partnering with clients, Stacie is a board member of the MassBioEd Foundation, which works on building the pipeline for the life sciences talent pool from the earliest stages. She also co-leads the firm’s Women’s Forum which seeks to provide internal and external professional development and networking opportunities to women in order to facilitate change in the industry.
