Colleen Helenhouse Bio

Colleen Helenhouse joined Fletcher & Sippel in June of 2022. Colleen began her practice in commercial litigation at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly, where she worked with Jim Fletcher, Bill Sippel, T.J. Litwiler, Tom Healey, Jim Helenhouse, and client Janet Gilbert. She went on to advise clients and represent small and large companies in complex litigation matters at Ross & Hardies and then, upon a merger, McGuire Woods LLP. Colleen has argued matters before the Illinois Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and has clerked for a Magistrate Judge in the Northern District of Illinois. She took a break from law to raise a family and teach at her children’s school. Colleen is thrilled to return full circle to practice with some of her original colleagues and clients in their ever-changing railroad and litigation needs.
