Daniel Bachmann Bio

Daniel is active in mergers and acquisition transactions (M&A), succession planning, and corporate and commercial law. He advises on all types of commercial contracts, in particular, with regard to export and distribution, as well as on competition, corporate governance, and legal compliance related matters. Daniel has broad experience in corporate restructurings, as well as in succession planning with a special focus on family internal and external succession in entrepreneurial companies. As notary public of the Canton of Solothurn, he also provides notarial services for both corporates and natural persons. He is a member of the board of several Swiss companies. Before joining Eversheds Sutherland, Daniel worked for more than 20 years in a Big Four consulting firm as partner and head of the legal services department in Berne and in various other functions. He previously was legal counsel and executive board secretary of von Roll Holding AG, and as such also worked in the USA. Daniel is admitted to the bar.
